FO Velden: [Enters the Captain's Ready Room angrily without using the door chime first] "Do you know what they just did?"
CO Torn: "Just a guess ... disabled my door chime?"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.08.29

(|Ben Versteegt and David Susman, August 27 2005|)
FO Velden: "Don't you find it the least bit peculiar, sir, that the only two Romulans in all of Starfleet have somehow worked their way into our little transwarp fleet? Rofellian is coming here as ASTC, and Commander Maiek, the other Romulan, is First Officer, no less, of the Valkyrie. Do you think the Romulans are up to something?"
CO Torn: "Paul, the Romulans *are* always up to something."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.08.29

(|David Susman, August 29 2005|)
CO Torn: "Skip a bit, Brother."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.09

(|Bram Peeters, August 30 2005|)
aCEO Montgomery: "Great... Remember that plasma conduit I had to repair last week? Ensign Sumwann 'forgot' I already did that myself, so he tried to repair it last night... *Now* it is broken again. I don't understand how he ever got out of the academy, the guy's a moron."
OO Vil: "We're in dry dock, why would he even have to repair anything at all? The Atlantis is getting a refit *and* being retrofitted with a transwarp engine at the same time."
aCEO Montgomery: "A refit that wouldn't be so damn necessary if Starfleet would send smarter engineers to this ship instead of some morons."
OO Vil: "They sent you here."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.09

(|Alonzo Soban and Patrick Buidin, August 31 2005|)
CONN Fletcher: "However, if I find out that you have done anything to harm my ship, I am going to have no problem with hunting you down and making tearing your intestines out and strangling you with them look like a pleasantry. Do you understand?"
ASTC Rofellian: "I'm understanding what you mean Ensign."
CONN Fletcher: "Good. Now that that's over with, want to get something to drink with me around 1700 or so?"
ASTC Rofellian: "Well Ensign, first I'm only having drink with friends, second you see these two pips on my collar, I'm a lieutenant and if I see correctly you're only an ensign so I would like that next time you'll address to me in a more polite and respectful tone."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.09

(|David Susman, September 1 2005|)
Lt. Dorothy Torn: "A hard mission indeed, rumour is the Gamma Quadrant is a 'Captain Killer', the Atlantis is on her third CO since entering the Quadrant."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.08.29

(|Bram Peeters, September 2 2005|)
OO Vil: "I am fairly sure the ship will survive the trip. Or at least lift-off..."
Captain Skaarav: "My ship is the only one going to Deneva for two days. You don't have to come with me though; I'd rather transport cargo anyway. Targ manure talks a lot less and likely smells better too." [extends his hand] "I'm captain Skaarav of the Serenity."
aCEO Montgomery: "Leo Montgomery, and this is Zoë Vil."
OO Vil: "Targ manure?"
Captain Skaarav: "That was the shipment I transported to Mars. There may be some residual ... fragrances. I advice you to stay out of the cargo hold."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.08

(|Adrian Rodd, September 4 2005|)
EEH: "No, no, no! The polaron flux inverter is rigged to the tertiary induction coil in Akira-class starships! If you link that in there, you'll trigger a cascade power reversion through the coil and whole ion redistribution grid! Don't they teach you anything at the Academy?"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.12

(|Rob Versteegt, Ben Versteegt and David Susman, September 8 2005|)
CSO Jomorr: "I am sorry Captain. . . Commander. I really am. But other than catching a few random thoughts from what someone is thinking, I cannot read anything from that person without his or her approval. . . only then will I proceed. . . Surely, in the interest of privacy, you can understand that?"
FO Velden: "Lieutenant, as I'm sure you are aware, there are times when the stakes are so incredibly high that what is usually considered a crime is suddenly allowed in order to extract information. However, I do not feel this is such a time. If Lieutenant Rofellian does not give us his permission, then we may face the fact that we simply have to accept it."
CO Torn: "Are you both mad? I can understand that Lieutenant Jomorr is reticent to use his abilities. I can understand, and I appreciate, the moral dilemma this presents. However, the greater good of the Federation, the very peace we enjoy in the Galaxy, could be jepordized by this ... *Romulan's* presence."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.09

(|Ben Versteegt, September 11 2005|)
Instructor Winter: "Congratulations, mister Velden. You've just handed the Romulans a Starfleet vessel, complete with its full crew. You and your crew will be interrogated brutally, and you will be pushed to give the Romulans classified information. The information stored in your ship's computers will be downloaded by the Romulans and will also serve them well. You lost, Commander."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.02

(|Patrick Buidin and Bram Peeters, September 12 2005|)
ASTC Rofellian: "Pleased to meet you Lt. I'm Lt. Vladek Rofellian, the new ASTC, but I'm sure you've already heard about me.'
aCEO Montgomery: ~The entire ship already knew about you a day after you came aboard.~

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.09

(|Rob Versteegt, September 16 2005|)
Bartender Bart: "Now, if you will excuse me. . . I have some burning beans in the back."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.09

(|Ruben Hilbers, September 16 2005|)
SO Norman: ~Department heads are not my favorite kind of people.~

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2392.04.10

(|Ben Versteegt, September 18 2005|)
FO Velden: "You're dead, aren't you?"
Instructor Winter: "Yes. But it was my choice to provide you with a diversion in the first place. I knew the risks."
FO Velden: "I left you behind on the planet to die."
Instructor Winter: "Not to worry. My death must have been glorious."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.08

(|Rob Versteegt, September 18 2005|)
Borwan Nakuru: "Instead of putting you in charge of a Starship, they make you a Bartender!"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.10.09

(|Ben Versteegt, September 25 2005|)
Admiral: "Lieutenant Commander Winter, would you please give us your evaluation of Commander Velden?"
'Instructor Winter': "Certainly, Admirals. It is my expert opinion that Commander Velden is an officer capable of great deeds. It is also my professional opinion that he is as thick as two short planks and should be thrown out of the Fleet immediately. Furthermore, Velden has displayed on many occasions that he is simply not fit for command, due to the fact that his single brain cell has yet to wake up and start functioning. Also, he wouldn't recognise danger if it hit him in the face. Come to think of it... Neither would you." [lashes out at the Admiral]

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.08

(|Hanna Brunefeldt, Spetember 25 2005|)
[Lieutenants Andersson and Jomorr have just witnessed a rather unusual shuttle landing. The pilot gets out.]
Chucky Hewitt: "Welcome to Mars Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Chucky 'Danger' Hewitt and this" [points at the shuttle] "is my pride and joy 'The dawning of the two worlds of tomorrow's yesterday's sunrise'"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.21

(|Ben Versteegt, September 29 2005|)
TC Sh'lin: [chuckles] "And people say you have no sense of humour."
Instructor Winter: "If you know what's good for you, Ensign, you'd better not tell those people that they're wrong."

-- ST Frontier Fleet. USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.08

(|Rob Versteegt, September 30 2005|)
[CSO Jomorr is staring at ACONN Andersson]
ACONN Andersson: "What, don't recognize me out of uniform? See you downstairs at the dinner table sir."
CSO Jomorr: "Uh. . . yes. Dinner. Right." [Andersson leaves the room] "Right. I need a cold shower. . ."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.21

(|Ben Versteegt and Rob Versteegt, September 30 2005|)
Secretary Hen-Walasi: =/\= Hen-Walasi, Secretary of Planetary Protection, Captain. It certainly took Starfleet a while to get here. =/\=
Captain Avatar: "Secretary, I am Captain Robert Avatar of the Federation Starship Escher. My apologies if we did not get here fast enough for your liking. Instead of merely overheating our engines, we shall endeavour to blow them up next time."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.21

(|Ben Versteegt and Rob Versteegt, September 30 2005|)
FO Velden: "I won't wreck the ship, you know."
Captain Avatar: "I know you won't, Commander. Just... don't attract any comets, okay?"
FO Velden: "Sir, honestly, I'm not the comet magnet people make me out to be. That incident on the Odyssey was not even my fault. That rumour has-"
Captain Avatar: "See you in a few hours, Commander."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.21

(|Ben Versteegt and Rob Versteegt, September 30 2005|)
Orion Pirate Varun: =/\= If you do not get away *now*, your precious Captain will have more than just a scratch to show. . . =/\=
FO Velden: [to OPS] "Get that scum of a pirate off my viewscreen!"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.21

(|Ben Versteegt and Rob Versteegt, September 30 2005|)
Orion Pirate Varun: "Put the data on the viewscreen. And do it quickly. . . our Federation guest here wants to know what's going on. . ."
[The data is put on the screen]
Orion Pirate Varun: "Do you recognise it? In case you don't, I'll tell you. It's an explosion. As you can see, debris from Orion ships is flying around. Do you know what this means, *Captain*?"
Captain Avatar: "I think I have a pretty good idea, yes. It means that you really shouldn't have trusted that used-ship salesman. They may appear honest and trustworthy, but in the end they'll sell you a bucket of bolts with a defective warp core any day."
Orion Pirate Varun: "It *means*, that your First Officer, the one who is just out of the Academy and follows your orders oh so well, has just destroyed one of my ships, possibly both!" [Grabs Avatar by the uniform and lifts him up] "Now *what* do you have to say for yourself?"
Captain Avatar: "Go team?"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.21

(|Ben Versteegt and Rob Versteegt, September 30 2005|)
Captain Avatar: "Listen to me. You don't want to do this."
Orion Pirate Varun: [laughs] "Please. Give me a reason. A good one. Another than 'otherwise Velden will destroy your ship'. Go on. Humour me. We both know that we'll both die. So tell me. Why shouldn't I kill you now, and embrace death with the knowledge that I have denied my enemies on your ship the satisfaction of having a cheerful victory? I will have been defeated Captain. . . but so will you. There will be no winner today."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.11.21

(|Bram Peeters, October 1 2005|)
ACEO Montgomery: "Can you tell me if the new warpcore sounds different from the old one?"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2392.04.10

(|Patrick Buidin, October 2 2005|)
ASTC Rofellian: "Well Ensign, I was thinking about one thing, we have now been talking together since several hours and you haven't mentioned yet anything about the fact that I'm a Romulan. Usually people are let's say a bit curious, suspicious... about that."

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.12.24

(|Hanna Brunefeldt and Rob Versteegt, October 4 2005|)
ACONN Andersson: "Why Oscar? Why not me?"
CSO Jomorr: "I cannot answer that. Some say it's fate… if that's the case, then fate has spared you because you have something else to do in the future… maybe Oscar died to show us that life isn't something to take for granted… It's Oscar's death that brought us here to this house, to see how Oscar lived, how the others are coping with his death, and… so that we could have this conversation. And I'm glad that we did…"

-- ST Frontier Fleet, USS Atlantis, Stardate 2391.09.22

(|Patrick Buidin, October 4 2005|)
ASTC Lt Rofellian: ~Perfect, well in a way of speaking, a romulan in a tuxedo. I'm ridiculous.~
