(|Post of the Month: September 2003|)
The post of the month award of September 2003 goes to:

Vincent Raposa, playing Chief Magistrate Lmor'.

Date of the post: 26-09-2003

(|Chief Magistrate Lmor'|)
(Draysian Vessel Cricket - Operations Bridge - 2391.03.17, 1731)

"Where was the need to destroy that alien ship?" The Alien dressed in yellow
and black stepped forward, his voice emanating a sense of anger or resentment.

~ "More likely resentment. The probably would have wanted to destroy the
scum themselves. But it was our victory. Our rise above the destroyed!" ~
Lmor' noted within.

"They were disabled and had been prevented from further attack...why did you
feel they needed to be destroyed?!?"

"I do not need to explain my actions to a pitiful man such as yourself."
Lmor' replied with a wave of his hand. This particular individual was of no
concern to him. From behind he heard a chuckle from his Second Official,
obviously pleased with his direct comment. "I am the Chief Magistrate of
this vessel and will do as I please to defend the planet of Draysius IV...if
that is destroying pitiful space scum such as the Torsoians then so be it!"

His arm and hand began to ache as he repositioned himself, a grimace formed
upon his face. It took everything he could muster to keep the look of pain
from his expresion.

"That is hardly a viable reason to annihla..." The Starfleet Officer began
to reply but was quickly cut off by the officer dressed in red and black. He
was obviously of higher rank. Perhaps that is what the red meant...after all
that Captain Essar individual had been wearing red and he was the commanding
officer of that Atlantis vessel.

"Raynor...", his voice was subdued yet was hard enough to inform this Raynor
character that he meant business. Lmor' lifted his head valiantly, a smirk
drawn across his face.

"Aye, sir." Raynor stepped back and allowed the other man to take point.

~ "Strict as they are, they are not very bright. If it were not their planet
would they have not destroyed the vessel as well?" ~ He mentally inquired as
he looked the man in red up and down.

"Lieutenant, Commander, we have all the wounded rounded up and are waiting
at the beam out position."

~ "They must be referring to my injured officials." ~ He thought quickly. He
looked up at his Second Official and nodded for him to find the group
heading out. Lmor' was not about to allow his injured to be transported upon
a vessel that he barely knew, let alone with a species that did not agree
with his tactics.

"Alert sickbay of the incoming wounded and start transport." The man in red
replied, he turned back to Lmor' he sat quietly within his command chair.

"This WILL have consequences..." The Officer replied in a curt tone. Lmor'
frowned and shook his head. "The only consiquences it will have is just
another victory for Draysius IV and their children who can rest saftly this
evening within one another's gentle embrace."

"There is nothing we can do here anymore..." He replied and the two turned
on their heals leaving Lmor' to his Command Bridge.

But was next? What could be done?

...nothing...

...but to start over...
