 | Type 18 Shuttlepods | |
|---|
|
|---|
| The USS Atlantis carries four type 18 shuttlepods. These vessels have no warp drive and are thus suited for short sub-light missions only -- perfect for going down to a planet or assisting in repairs to the ship. These shuttles tend to be used in non-violent and safe environments, since the vessel has very little capacity to defend itself. |

 | Type 6 Personnel Shuttles | |
|---|
|
|---|
| The type 6 Personnel Shuttle has proved to be a very reliable model throughout the years, capable of sustaining low warp and defending itself sufficiently in a fight. It is capable of comfortably ferrying up to six people to or from a planet or ship, but there is room for more in a crisis situation. These shuttles can be used as anything from a passenger ferry to an vessel used to aid the mothership in an attack. These shuttles remain widely spread throughout the Federation, and the Atlantis carries two of them. |

 | Type 7 Personnel Shuttles | |
|---|
|
|---|
| The type 7 shuttlecraft continues to serve as one of the standard shuttlecraft in Starfleet. Slightly better than the Type 6 concerning computers and sensors, the Type 7 is often the most reasonable choice for science missions. The Type 7 can do everything the Type 6 can; just a little more. This slight difference between the two types makes the choice between the two types often more of an esthetic than a practical one. |

 | Danube Class Runabouts | |
|---|
|
|---|
| Two Danube Class Runabouts are present on the USS Atlantis: The USS Moldau (NCC 76883) and the USS Elbe (NCC 76908). These Runabouts are often used for longer away missions at a long distance from the Atlantis. |

 | Work Bees | |
|---|
|
|---|
| Used to haul heavy or large cargo around space or inside cargo bays, these work bees provide a convenient tool for every Starship crew. On the USS Atlantis, a total of six workbees is assigned to assist in any repairs to the outside of the ship, should they be necessary, while the other two are each assigned to a cargo bay to help haul heavy cargo from one side of the bay to another. |
