(|USS Odyssey Status Report November 2004, by Dennis Church|)
Stardate 2391.04.26

The Nurmarhi are ordered off of the Odyssey so that the department heads and the three newcomers to the Odyssey crew can debate on whether to trust this enigmatic alien race. Many opinions are shared, but the consensous seems to be that the aliens can't be trusted.

Captain Bennek orders that the collaboration with the Nurmarhi should continue anyway, and the meeting almost ends. However, 2O/CEO Paul Velden falls drastically ill, starting to show symptoms of what the Nurmarhi call the "Tarr". CMO O'Gallagher beams out with Velden to sickbay, and the existence of this Tarr seems to be verified, in the most deadly way possible.
