(|Talax|)
Homeworld of the Talaxians. The Axiana Lakes are located in the Godo Mountain Range on Talax. (VOY: Homestead)

(|Talos IV|)
The planet Talos IV.Talos IV is a Class-M planet located in the third quadrant of vernal galaxy. The only ship that ever visited the planet was the U.S.S. Enterprise commanded by Captain Christopher Pike. The gravity of Talos IV is 0.9 of Earth. The atmosphere is heavy with inert elements, but within safety limits. There is a blue plant on Talos IV that emits a sound. The Talosians once lived on the surface of the planet, but moved underground thousands of centuries ago due to war. As of 2354, the planet was only just becoming able to support life again. In 2254, The U.S.S. Enterprise under Captain Pike received a distress signal from the S.S. Columbia from Talos IV. The vessel disappeared in the region of the Talos Star Group, 18 years earlier. The report on Talos IV is top secret, for Starfleet Command eyes only. Commodore Mendez certified that he had Captain Kirk read it. (TOS: The Menagerie)

(|Tantalus V|)
The surface of Tantalus V.Tantalus Colony is located on the planet Tantalus V. Tantalus Colony is a penal colony. It has a security force field that prevents transporting. On Stardate 2715, the U.S.S. Enterprise dropped off supplies to Tantalus Colony, and beamed up research materials that were to be sent to the Central Bureau of Penology. The container actually held Dr. Van Gelder, who was trying to escape Tantalus. (TOS: Dagger of the Mind)

Homeworld of the Tarkaleans. (ENT: Regeneration)

(|Tarok|)
A shuttle approaches the moon Tarok.Tarok is an M-Class moon where the Kazon-Ogla conduct training exercises. There is intense radiothermic interference on the moon, preventing scans. It comes from subterranean energy sources – several carefully concealed weapon systems - phaserbanks, force fields, biomagnetic traps, disrupter snares and proton dischargers. They can be remotely detonated, destroying the moon. The surface soil is not strong enough to support the landing of a starship, but will support smaller craft. (VOY: Initiation)

(|Tarsus IV|)
There is an Earth Colony located on Tarsus IV. Kodos the executioner was the Governor of Tarsus IV in the 2240s. In the 2240's, the food on Tarsus IV was attacked by an exotic fungus and was largely destroyed. There were over 8,000 colonists and virtually no food. That was when Governor Kodos seized full power and declared emergency martial law. He rationed whatever food was left, and divided the colonists. Some would live, but the remainder would be immediately put to death. He decided who would live and die using his own personal standards, and implemented his decision without mercy. Children watched their parents die, and whole families were destroyed. Over 4,000 people were killed. They died quickly, without pain. Relief arrived, but too late to prevent the executions. (TOS: The Conscience of the King)

(|Taurus II|)
The U.S.S. Enterprise in orbit of Taurus II.Taurus II is an M-Class planet located about dead center in the Murasaki Effect. The Shuttlecraft Galileo crash landed on this planet while investigating Murasaki 312 on Stardate 2821. The atmosphere consists of partial pressure of Oxygen, 70 millimeters of mercury, and Nitrogen is 140. It is a breathable atmosphere, with traces of argon, neon, krypton, all in acceptable quantities. Transporters do not function properly on Taurus II. The inhabitants of Taurus II are large, ape-like creatures. The weapons used by the inhabitants of Taurus II resembled Folsom point arrowheads, except they were enormous in size. The Astral Anthropology department on the U.S.S Enterprise said the creatures on the planet were order 480-G, anthropoid, and similar to life forms discovered on Hansen's Planet, but much larger. They are 10–12 feet in height. (TOS: The Galileo Seven)

(|Terra Nova|)
Terra nova is a Human colony that was settled in the late 21st century. Terra nova is less than 20 LY away from Earth. It took 9 years to travel that far when the colony was founded. Terra Nova was settled by the U.S.S. Conestoga, which was helmed by Captain Mitchell. Earth wanted to send more colonists to Terra Nova, but the Novans protested and relations with Earth became strained. Mark Logan was a colonist who headed those who were opposed to more colonists. He threatened to fire on any ship that came near Terra Nova. At the same time of this conflict with Earth, an asteroid impacted the planet. The Novans submitted weekly status reports to Earth until the asteroid hit. Debris in the atmosphere prevented their last message from getting through to Earth, so Earth never knew their fate. The asteroid hit 500 miles north of the colony, 10-12 degrees north of the equator. The colonists believed that Earth had attacked them. A radioactive cloud covered the northern hemisphere for a year. The colonists were driven underground by the radiation from the asteroid. The poison rain burned skin causing scales. Everyone got sick and died except the younger children. Seventy years later, the Enterprise NX-01 was sent to investigate what happened to the colonists. The survivors were barely recognizable as human. Once the Enterprise managed to convince them that it was an asteroid, not Earth that attacked them, the Novans allowed Enterprise to move them to a different location that had not been contaminated by the radiation fallout of the asteroid. The soil and water in the area around the colony was so contaminated that the colonists were 1-2 years away from death when Enterprise found them. The Novans developed a unique type of slang. (|Thallon|)
Thallon is the home world of the Thallonians. The planet Thallon, in the Danteri's most holy books, is a source of great power. The most learned and mystic of the Danteri elders call it the Rest World. Scholars think that they may have used the Thallon home world as some sort of a resting and refueling point. Thallon gained its start as a populated world in much the same way that Australia began. There was another race, a sort of Uber race, which had a variety of names as they were known by assorted worlds that were under their influence. The name they had for themselves is lost to history. They were a star-spanning empire and were, if we judge by their conduct, big believers in conquest but also tended to preserve life rather than destroy it, even if it was of no use to them. They used the planet we now call Thallon as a sort of dumping ground for criminals, unsavory types, political exiles and assorted refuse from throughout their system. It was, at the time, a small, cold, and not especially fertile world. It may very well be that they did not expect any of the residents there to survive. From archaeological records and the myths put forward by the Thallonians, the first of the Thallonians arrived in what we would call space arks. They were given provisions enough to last them a few months, plus materials to seed the ground and try to make a life for themselves there. The exiles were sent to a planet that had been described to them as inhospitable. But that's not what they discovered when they arrived there. The climate was fairly temperate, the world almost paradisiacal. There do remain several possibilities. One is that the planet underwent some sort of atmospheric change. Perhaps a shift in its axis, for example, caused alterations in the climate. Another possibility is that the present coordinates were simply wrong and they did not arrive at the intended world. Or perhaps someone within the race simply took pity on them and secretly made the change. Thallon itself was an almost limitless supply of pure energy. The ground is an energy-rich mineral unique to the world, all-purpose and versatile beyond anything that has ever been discovered elsewhere. The nutrients in it are such that anything planted in it grows. Pieces of the planet, when refined, were used to harness great tools of peace and growth and then, eventually, great tools of war. (|Theta Cyngi XII|)
Spock points out Theta Cyngi XII on a monitor.Theta Cyngi XII was swept by mass insanity. It was one of several civilizations to be destroyed in a pattern that began in the Beta Portolan system and Lavinius V then continued on to Ingraham B. There was no medical or scientific cause for what happened on those planets. Stardate 3287.2, the cause was determined: neural parasites that inflicted intense pain on humanoids. The parasites were destroyed at the last planet they attacked, Deneva. (TOS: Operation -- Annihilate!)
