P'Jem is a remote Vulcan spiritual retreat for Kolinahr and quiet contemplation. P'Jem was one of Vulcan's most revered sanctuaries. P'Jem is located on the northern hemisphere, of a remote planet. It is over 3,000 years old, and was founded by Master Haadok, among others. The monks at P'Jem consider technology a distraction from their spiritual pursuits. More than one member of the order should be present in the main atrium. Visitors to P'Jem are greeted by a Vulcan Elder. They should not speak unless spoken to, maintain quiet at all times, avoid disturbing Vulcans that appear to be meditating, and refrain from touching anything. Visitors are turned away at the time of communal Kolinahr. Guests are given the Stone of J'kah, as a gesture of salutation. In the mid 22nd century it concealed a surveillance site that used a long-range sensor array to spy on the Andorians. There are secret passages that lead to the catacombs beneath P'Jem, where they keep mummified remains of their honored dead. The mummified remains of Master Haadok, one of the founders of P'Jem are located at P'Jem. The Reliquary, where they keep their most sacred artifacts, is also in the catacombs. The entrance to the surveillance site was hidden in the Reliquary. In 2151, the temple was searched by Andorians who believed that it was a surveillance site. It turned out they were correct, it housed a long-range sensor array. Captain Archer allowed them to take scans of the site. (ENT: The Andorian Incident)
The Andorians destroyed P'Jem after they discovered the surveillance site. The Andorians gave the monks at P'Jem 3 hours warning before they started their bombardment. No one was killed. (ENT: Shadows of P'Jem)
Syrranites believed that the High Command defiled the monastery at P'Jem when they used it to spy on the Andorians. (ENT: The Forge)
Centuries ago, a set of katric arks were discovered at the monastery at P'Jem. They were scanned, analyzed. One of the scientists even attempted to meld with them. They found nothing to indicate they presence of a katra. (ENT: Awakening)

 | Paan Mokar | |
|---|
|
|---|
Planet which was disputed territory for the Vulcans and the Andorians. Paan Mokar is the Vulcan name for the planet, while the Andorians named it Weytahn. The Andorians terraformed the planet to make it habitable in the 2050s. It has a strategic location near Vulcan space. The planet is not much bigger than Earth's moon. The planet has a mutagenic pathogen. Humans need to have their immune system bombarded with analyeptic radiation to protect them on the surface. Vulcan physiology is not effected by the pathogen. | Planet Hell | |
|---|
|
|---|
Planet Hell is located in the Delta Quadrant. The crewmen in the U.S.S. Voyager's stellar cartography department were responsible for the nickname. The planet shows high amino acid and protein readings, indicating a healthy plant life, but the reading was false. The planet is shrouded with vapors that cover it like a veil. There are EM disturbances all over the atmosphere. Readings suggest it is early in its evolution. It has high levels of trigemic vapors, but it can support humanoid life. Planet Hell is used as a hatching ground for a technologically advanced species of repto-humanoids. (VOY: Parturition)

 | Pollux IV | |
|---|
|
|---|
Pollux IV is in the Beta Geminorum system. Pollux IV is Class-M, with a oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere. No life forms were detected when the U.S.S Enterprise first visited it on Stardate 3468.1. Pollux IV is approximately 4 billion years old. After they conducted inital scans of the planet, they encountered a field of energy that appeared as a hand. It caught Enterprise and they couldn't move. It resembled a conventional force field, but on unusual wavelengths. The Enterprise was almost completely encircled by the field. It was generated by the Being Apollo, who captured the Enterprise and ordered them to worship him. In return, he offered them life in paradise on Pollux IV. He fell in love with Lt. Carolyn Palamas, but she spurned him when ordered to by Captain Kirk. It weakened him enough that Enterprise was able to destroy the temple where his energy source was stored. Psi 2000 is an ancient world that is now a frozen wasteland about to rip apart in its death throes. Before its sun went dark, the planet was remarkably similar to Earth. The U.S.S. Enterprise was sent to pick up a scientific party on the planet below, and to observe the disintegration of the planet. When they arrived, life support systems were turned off. The members of the scientific party were all dead. The water had changed to a complex chain of molecules. It passed from man to man through perspiration. Once in the blood stream it acted like alcohol, and depressed the centers of judgment and self-control. (TOS: The Naked Time)
