I only received four sets of answers for last month's trivia. Seeing Bram had all answers I don't think the questions were too hard. But I have to admit for my trivia some searching the web is needed. Personnally I do not think trivia questions of which you know the answer by heart are much fun. In each case, not if you have all the time to find the answers.
So, hear are the answers of last months questions:
1. Genesis
2. "Beam me up, Scotty"
3. New Orleans class
4. Unification, Part I
5. not toj tlhInganpu' (pronounced like not toj tlinganpoo)
6. Once they are turned on they cannot be turned off anymore.
7. Martin/Marcus Benbeck in 'The Masterpiece Society' (TNG); unfortunately due to Bram's answer I found out that even Paramount did not know his name for sure. Both were listed at startrek.com
8. Kirk to the Organian Council of Elder in 'Errand of Mercy' (TOS)
9. Mardah/Marta to Sisko in 'The Abandoned' (DS9); once again it turned out that even Paramount didn't know the name of the character for sure.
10. At March 03, 0300 GMT,
http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/team/team_127658.html listed the ST Frontier Fleet SETI@Home team with 4136 results.
Those answers give us the following winners:
4. Adrian Rodd (2 points; guessed 0 results)
3. David Susman (2 points; guessed more then 2 results)
2. Merijn Donders (7 points; guessed 4127 results)
1. Bram Peeters (11 points; guessed 4130)
Congratulations Bram !!
I hope this month we will have some more people trying to beat Bram.
;-)
The trivia consists out of 10 questions. 4 bonus points can be made and the last question is to determine the winner in case of ties. There are no prizes, but you will get honored by being the winner of the trivia. Everyone can participate except for those having seen the answers (which is only me right now).
Please send in your answers to stff-trivia@starbase12.cjb.net before April 1, 0000 GMT. Everything coming in afterwards won't be counted anymore.
Good luck and have fun!
