(|mIRC Connection Tutorial|)
Note: We have assumed in this tutorial that you have already installed mIRC, and that you know how to start it.

(|Adding servers|)
  • Start mIRC if it's not running already and press alt-E to get to the Options screen, then select the "Connect" category.
    Click on the "Add" button (see screenshot)

  • Fill in the values you see in the section below in the appropriate textfields (click "Add" when your done and then "Add" again in the "Connect" category to add another server)

  • Close the Options screen

Now everytime you want to connect to PBEMNET, just hit the "Connect" button on the top left of your screen and select a server from the PBEMNET group.

  • Description: PBEMNET: Guido
    IRC Server: irc.frontierfleet.com
    Port(s): 6667, SSL: 6601 (for mIRC, you have to add a + to the port number to use SSL and OpenSSL has to be installed)
    Group: PBEMNET

  • Description: PBEMNET: Bram
    IRC Server: lin.frontierfleet.com
    Port(s): 6667, SSL: 6601
    Group: PBEMNET
