Summary:
The Valkyrie's engineering and operations departments have managed to get the vast majority of systems up and working again. While the repairs crews worked, the subspace aliens sent Captain Bennek - of the USS Odyssey - to the Valkyrie, instead of returning Commander Maiek. Moments after Bennek's arrival on the Valkyrie, the subspace rifts closed, without any visible indicators that they ever existed.
Lieutenant Schofield and Ensign Alvarez were rescued from the surface of Zon IV, after the Brunhilde's self destruct sequence was disarmed and the flyer brought back aboard.
The Orion pirates, who had at one point held Schofield and Alvarez as prisoners, have departed the region.
Captain Bennek has opted to leave Lieutenant Commander in command of the Valkyrie, until receiving orders from Starfleet to the contrary.
