Location: Sol System, en route to Earth Station McKinley
Second Officer's Log: The Valkyrie is en route to Earth Station McKinley, where the crew will be able to enjoy shore leave whilst the Valkyrie undergoes a refit, and a retrofit of her engines. We are to form part of the newly created, transwarp capable, Frontier Fleet. It is expected that we will reach our intended destination within the next couple of days. I expect some of the crew, particularly the engineers, will wish to stay aboard and "co-operate" with the engineers who have been tasked with the refit/retrofit. I, however, intend to make full use of my shore leave, as I do not know when the opportunity will next come about. End of log.
