Tucker Smallwood and Rick Worthy had prominent recurring roles as Xindi Council Members in the third season of Enterprise but their characters were never given names. Smallwood solved that problem by choosing names for them both, calling his character 'Deepak', and Worthy's 'Chopra'. When Smallwood signs autographs, he signs "Tucker Smallwood, Xindi Council".
In Star Trek Generations, William Shatner rides two different horses. In most shots, he rode one of his own Western Pleasure Horses, but a stunt horse was brought in for the shot where the horse jumps.
The Kazon were originally meant to be teenagers. They were based on Los Angeles street gangs. They were conceived as street gangs in space, that killed off other sects, or gangs and that none of them lived to be more than 20-25 because of the violence that ruled their area of space.
When Voyager began filming, they shot for several days with Kate Mulgrew's hair down. The studio didn't like her look, so they had to reshoot with the new hairdo. Caretaker became the only Star Trek pilot where the hairdressing ending up costing more than the special effects.
