Character
Name: Your character's name.
Character
Age: Your character's age. Starfleet is a military organization,
and therefore does not accept any students under the age of 18. If your
character is an officer, they must complete four years of academy training,
and be at least 22. If you plan to play an Enlisted character, they
must complete one year of basic training, and be at least 19. Your character
can be older and have experience in Starfleet, but he/she will still
start out as an Ensign. Civilians and NPC's have no minimum age.
Character
Race: Your character's race. In most cases, this should be
a race whose home planet is a member of the Federation.
(See our races database, here.)
You can play a 'foreign' race, but your backstory must have a plausible
explanation of how they ended up in starfleet (for example, Worf was
an orphan who was adopted by humans.). Civilians do not have this restriction.
Players are not allowed to be Q (or Q-like), although your GM may use them in a
plot.

both (Hermat), or Neither (J'naii).

First
Choice Position: & Second Choice Position: This lets
us know in advance where you'd like to be stationed on your vessel.
You can change your mind while you are in the academy, as long as you
inform your instructor. For more information on Positions, read the
Position Descriptions.
What
do you prefer?: Some people
have a distinct preference for playing on a ship or a station. Let us
know what your preference is (or if you don't have one), so we can try
to assign you to the place you'd most enjoy. If you change your mind,
you can transfer to another vessel later.
Character
Appearance: Give us a brief description about what your character
looks like. You can be specific (Height & Weight, Hair & Eye
Color), and/or describe the impression they make on people.
Character
History: Tell us about your character and the major events
of his/her life. Describe his/her family and personal life, as well
as his/her career.
Psychological
Profile: All Starfleet officers are required to undergo Psychological
Examination to determine if they are fit for duty. If your characer
has any 'issues', this would be the place to mention it. But mostly,
this field is to describe your character's personality. Are they outgoing
or shy? Laid back, or extremely disciplined? The more detail you can
give, the easier it will be for your fellow players to interact with
you. Since personality is subjective, and never static, your character
can change over time.
Specialties
and Skills: Tell
us about what your character is good at. It can be job related, or not.
If you are planning on making your character exceptionally skilled in
one area, you should balance it with a flaw or disadvantage in another
area, in order to keep him/her realistic.
Hobbies
and Interests: What does your character like to do in his/her
free time? What fascinates them?
Notes:
This field can be used to tell us something about your character that
doesn't fit into one of the above fields.
NRPG
Notes: This field is for out of game information that you
would like us to know. It will not appear in your biography.
