The Denolublans believed they were the only intelligent species in the galaxy until the B'Saari made first contact.
The Denobulans went to war with the Antarans several times in the 1800s. As of the 22nd century, there was still bad blood between the two species. During the wars, Denobulan battle tactics resulted in over 20 million Antaran casualties. Since that time, there has been no contact between the two species. The Denobulans demonized the Antarans and made them a faceless enemy. As of the 22nd century, there were still some Denobulans that hated Antarans, although most have outgrown the hatred.
